An adult Zebra Shark (Stegostoma fasciatum) with a large hook in its mouth swims up and over the photographer. A small Sharksucker (Echeneis naucrates) is also seen on the underbelly of the shark,
This shark is often referred locally as a 'Leopard Shark' due to its spots, however the Zebra Shark name comes from the juvenile patterning which consists of large dark stripes.
