A very large and very dark colored Shortnose Batfish (Ogcocephalus nasutus) on the ocean floor in Phil Foster Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Phil Foster Park is the premier muck shore dive in Florida.
It is difficult to differentiate this species from the Polkadot Batfish, however in one image of this speciman the banded tail of the Shortnose is clearly visible.
