A Sand Diver (Synodus intermedius) buried in the sand on the ocean floor at night. Sand Divers are generally ambush hunters, and hide in the sand waiting for prey to swim by and also to avoid predators.
This Sand Diver has its mouth wide open, showing both its teeth and the strcuture of his mouth.
