A pair of Coleman Shrimp (Periclimenes colemani) on a Magnificent Fire Urchin ( Asthenosoma varium ) in Alilao in the Philippines.
The species is found only on this species of Urchin. The main shrimp has a swollen belly and looks to be inculbatiing eggs. The male of this species tends to be smaller than the female, but it is unclear whether the second shrimp in this image is a male or another female.
