An Allied Cowry (Calpurnus verrocosus) found on the typical Sarcophyton sp. coral. This species is larger than similar looking species and can be identified by the circular depressions in the shell at both end. Although the patterning on this species matches its food patterning, it is regularly found in the open probably because its colors indicate it tastes bad.
