A Banded Sea Snake (Laticauda colubrina) swims over the wreck of the Tapilon (an old WWII Japanese Cargo Ship) off the coast of Malapascua in the Philippines.

Despite being extremely venomous, sea snakes are generally very placid animals and no confirmed fatalities have been recorded on scuba divers - they are reported to eat small gobies and other small fish.
