(see this users gallery) A specimen of the polyceridae nudibranch Nembrotha lineolata lays an egg spiral on a Sea Squirt Ascidian (Polycarpa aurata) on the side of a coral reef head near an island in the Banda Sea in Indonesia.
This does appear to be a rather unusual and precarious place to lays its eggs.
