A bright orange colored Christmas Tree Worm (Spirobranchus giganteus) on the Delray Ledges dive site off the east coast of Florida near Delray and Boynton Beaches.
These marine worms spectacular spiral gills are instantly noticeable underwater, with the head of the worm (pictured in red here) is regularly ignored.
As tube dwelling worms, if startled they will retreat into their calcareous tube at a moments notice.
