(see this users gallery) An Intermediate Spotted Drum (Equetus punctatus) swims in figure eight patterns on a coral reef on Klein Island in Bonaire.
These beautiful fish are best known for their juvenile stage where their dorsal fin is long and distinctive. In this intermediate phase the long dorsal is still present which will be lost when it enters into it's adult phase.
