(see this users gallery) Hidden beneath the ocean sand, this small Purplemouth Moray Eel (Gymnothorax vicinus) sticks its head out to seek prey and to breathe. This uncommon Moray is rarely seen in Florida and its range is unknown though it has been seen in multiple location across the Caribbean. This image was taken on the famous Blue Heron Bridge shore dive at Phil Foster Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.
