A small, unidentified 2 inch Small Basket Star (Schizostella sp.?) within a dark purple sea rod colony at night on a coral reef in the West End of Grand Bahamas. The extensive branching of the arms suggests that this is a basket star, but little else is known of this very pretty sea star.
