A wonderfully colored Splendid Dottyback (Pseudochromis spendens) swims in front of a sponge on a coral reef in the Banda Sea, Indonesia. Certainly one of the prettiest tropical fish in the world, these fish are notoriously shy and very difficult to photograph as they dart in and out of reef crevices.
