A sea shell is embedded in the side of a Pacific Cucumber (Bohadschia argus) in the Banda Sea in Indonesia. It is not unusual to have debris attached to these cucumbers s they move across the ocean floor looking for food.
This cucumber can be identified easily by the patterns of spots and mottling on the body.
