A Stells'a Moon Snail (Natica stellata) buries into the ocean floor at night near a coral reef within the Great Barrier Reef in northern Queensland, Australia.
These predatory snails are aggressive in feeding on worms and other molluscs. Many species in this family have the ability to drill through shells on other species.
