The beautiful Juvenile Emperor Angelfish (Pomacanthus imperator) is highly sought after by photographers due to its striking patternation of white, black and bright blue concentric circles. It is thought that the pattern and quick movements of this fish are designed to confuse any potential predators. This fish is very skittish and reasonably rare which makes photography difficult.
This image was taken on the famous wreck of the USS Liberty located in Tulamben Bay in Bali, Indonesia.
