This mooring line leads from the dive boat down to the famous Steve's Bommie dive site in the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia.
Steve's Bommie is famous for the diversity and abundance of marine life.
Bommie is a local Australian term which refers to an isolated sea mound or sea mount separate from a larger coral reef systems. These mounds often form a sort of mid-ocean oasis which can attract a large number and variety of marine species which makes them very attractive dive destinations.
