The extended tentacles and mouth on the head of a Beaded Sea Cucumber (Euapta godeffroyi) as it hunts across the ocean floor at night on a coral reef in the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia.
This species is part of a family of sea cucumbers that lack tube fet and thus look beaded or rounded. They can extend their body up to 2m (6') in length as they move.
