Known locally as the Red-Line Blue Sea Goddess, this is a specimen of the Chromodorididae Nudibranch species Hypselodoris nyalya. This image taken on the Conch Wall dive site off the coast of Key Largo in Florida, USA.
There is much debate on which family group this rarely seen nudibranch belongs to, with it originally having been placed in the Chromodoris family.
You can refer to http://www.seaslugforum.net/display.cfm?id=20341 for the latest information on this species.
