A very small male Roughhead Blenny (Acanthemblemaria aspera) complete with the ocellated spot on the foredorsal fin, lunges out of its home burrow to grab a passing meal.
Only the male of this species have the ocellated spot. The maximum size of the species is little over an inch, and this speciman was much closer to 1/2"
