A large Lamellariidae or Velutinid (Coriocella nigra) crawling on a coral reef ledge at night off the coast of Mabul Island in Sabah, Malaysia. These species possess an internal shell which can only be seen after the animal perishes.
These animals prey on colonial ascidians and tunicates.
