A Coral Grouper (Cephalopholis miniata) swims above a cleaning station looking for the local cleaner wrasse to arrive. Image taken on a coral reef on the Great Barrier Reef off of Queensland, Australia.
While resting these groupers often change to this pale, mottled coloration which makes their dark-edged blue spots stand out distinctively.
