A cyalume stick is tied to a mooring line during a night dive on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia.
These sticks are being tied to this mooring line to provide a visual identifier for divers on where the dive boat is moored. This assists the scuba divers in locating and returning to the dive boat at the end of the dive.
