Known by many names, such as the Humphead Wrasse and the Maori Wrasse, this is a large intermediate phase Napoleon Wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus) swimming over the famous wreck of the SS Yongala off the coast of Townsville in Queensland, Australia.
In this phase the head hump is not fully developed and the diagonal stripes under the eyes are still present.
Full adults of this species can grow as large as 7 feet in size.
