A Coral Grouper (Cephalopholis miniata) rests on a coral reef head on a coral reef on the Davies Reef system in the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Townsville in Queensland, Australia.
While resting these groupers often change to this pale, mottled coloration which makes their dark-edged blue spots stand out distinctively.
