A Piano Fangblenny (Plagiotremus tapeinosoma) peers out from a burrow in a hard coral reef head on the Davies Reef system in the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Townsville in Queensland, Australia.
Fangblennies are aggressive feeders on fish, and often pretend to be cleaner fish to allow them to get close to their prey before taking a large bite from the skin or scales and then retreating into holes and burrows such as this one.
