A bright purple colored Hypselodoris bullocki nudibranch lays a bright yellow egg spiral on a coral reef head. This is most common of the coloration known for this common nudibranch.
There is much debate about this species of Chromodoris as color variations range from pale white to a dark purple and all colors in between. Their habitat also extends through most of the tropical pacific and throughout Asia and Australia.
