While having a restricted range, this Chromodorididae Nudibranch (Chromodoris dianae) is common around various Philippine islands. There are several very similar looking nudibranchs including Chromodoris lochi and Chromodoris willani and identification is difficult and often tentative.
The specimen was photographed on the coral reef heads on the Aphol dive site off of Anilao in the Batangas area of The Philippines.
