A Samar Conch (Strombus dentatus) moves across a dark ocean floor at night on the shore muck dive at Basura Beach in Anilao, The Philippines.
This species is named for the tooth patterns on the lip of the shell which can be clearly seen in this image. Like most conch species, this species is vegetarian and feed on the algae found on nearby coral and coral reef heads.
