Close up of the spines of a Flower Urchin (Toxopneustes pileolus) hiding in the shallows on the Twin Rocks shore dive in front of the Planet Dive resort in Anilao in the Batangas area of The Philippines.
The spines on this urchin are extremely toxic and several fatalities have been attributed to injuries from being punctured by this species.
