A flock of Kelp Gulls (Larus dominicanus vetula) scavenge the chumsicle and fish heads put into the ocean near Gansbaai, South Africa by the White Shark watching boats. These gulls follow the White Shark cage diving boats each day looking to scavenge the chum and bait that is used to attract the White Sharks.
This species are omnivores like most Larus gulls, and they will scavenge as well as seeking suitable small prey.
