The White Chinned Petrel (Procellaria aequinoilla) flies over the ocean during the Sardine Run in South Africa. This bird is not an active participant in the sardine baitballs that occur in this season, but they actively look for scavenging opportunities they can take advantage of. This image shows the complex bill typical of this family of birds.
