A Cape Gannet (Morus capensis) has a successful catch of a sardine after dive bombing into a sardine baitball leaving a trail of bubbles, Image taken of on the famous Sardine Run off the Wild Coast of South Africa.
One of the deadliest predators on the Sardine Run, these birds dive bomb the bait ball, often reaching a depth of 30 or 40 feet, and then swim back to the surface to try again.
