(see this users gallery) A pod of Long beaked Common Dolphins (Delphinus capensis) swimming underwater off the Wild Coast of South Africa in clear blue water.
Common Dolphins are the primary predators during the Sardine Run often forming 'superpods' of several thousand individuals. They also form and maintain the bait balls of sardines and other bait fish.
The Sardine Run occurs each year, starting as early as June and lasting through August, as millions of tons of sardines migrate up the east coast of South Africa.
