Black and white image of a Cape Gannets (Morus capensis) bursting through the ocean surface to attacks a Sardine Bait Ball on the Wild Coast of South Africa during the famous Sardine Run.
A Common Dolphin swims below the baitball ensuring it stays together for the other predators. Each year, starting as early as June and lasting through August, millions of tons of sardines migrate up the east coast of South Africa.
