A a group of purple-brown colored Giant Barrel Sponges (Xestospongia muta on the Breakers Reef system off the coast of West Palm Beach in Florida, USA with a few fish swimming in the background.
There has been a large reduction in the number of Giant Barrel Sponges in Florida in the past few years with most of the large specimans disappearing.
