A Potato Cod (Epinephelus tukula) swims in an exhibit at the Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour in New South Wales, Australia.
The Potato Cod is grey-brown with large dark brown spots on the body. It has small spots on the head and lines from the back of the eye.
This species grows to 2m in length. It occurs on coral reefs of the Indo-West Pacific. In Australia it is known from off north-western Western Australia and the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland.
