A Blotched Goby (Coryphopterus inframaculatus) perched on a coral rock on the sea mound on the Anemone Reef dive site off the coast of Phuket, Thailand in the Andaman Sea.
This fish is characterized by the yellow spots and a black mark on the base of the tail. The female (shown here) lacks the long 1st doral fin spike that is present in males of the species.
Anemone Reef is a completely submerged small sea mound that is covered in anemones and colourful soft corals.
