(see this users gallery) A dark blue colored Christmas Tree Worm (Spirobranchus giganteus) living on a hard coral on the coral reef surrounding Phi Phi Island off the coast of Phuket, Thailand in the Andaman Sea.
These marine worms are common world wide on hard coral reef heads. There are thought to be twenty distinct known species of Christmas Tree Worm, although some people believe they are subspecies of same animal with local variations in color of the prominent feeding and breathing gills.
