A very large Mega Hermit Crab (Dardanus megistos) of approximately 15cm (6 inches) in size moves across the ocean floor and onto a shallow stony reef at night.
This species can be identified by the white spots outlines in black, along with a red-orange body color. This species feeds on molluscs by breaking open their shells with their powerful claws.
