A trainer is catapulted out of the water and into the air by a Killer Whales (Orcinus orca) during a show at the famous Sea World in Orlando, Florida.
These large mammals are also known as Orcas, and are actually the largest species of dolphin rather than a species of whale. The common name 'killer whale' was originally 'Whale Killer' which was bestowed by fisherman who had seen pods of these Orcas attack whales in the open ocean.
