The adult phase of the Spotted Drum (Equetus punctatus) swims in amongst a small cave in a coral ledge. They generally swim in a figure eight pattern unless directly disturbed.
These beautiful fish are best known for their juvenile stage where their dorsal fin is long and distintive.
