(see this users gallery) A pair of fighting Laughing Kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae) in a territorial dispute.
Kookaburras are most famous for their shrieking call which sounds something like wild laughter. Their bill is very large and strong in relation to their small body size. They are considered one of the largest species in the Kingfisher family.
