A large (10 cm) long Fine-Spotted Blenny (Salarias guttatus) sits under a coral reef ledge. This spectacular fish tend to be solitary and stay in the shallows on small patch reefs and rocky shores.
Image taken on the Eden / Last Oasis dive site which is part of the Southern Small Detatched Reef system in far north Queensland in Australia.
Detached Reef's in this remote area are named as they are near - but not directly attached to the Great Barrier Reef system.
