A pale color form of a Arceye Hawkfish (Paracirrhites arcatus) sits amongst a lush coral reef head. This color form is very common in the northern part of Queensland.
Image taken on the Eden / Last Oasis dive site which is part of the Southern Small Detatched Reef system in far north Queensland in Australia.
Detached Reef's in this remote area are named as they are near - but not directly attached to the Great Barrier Reef system.
