A Bifurcus Polyclad Flatworm (Pseudoceros bifurcus) moves across lush area on a coal reef head. This beautiful blue marine worm is distinctive with a white stipe on the mantle, bordered by a deep purple line. Also present is an orange patch near the eyes.
Image taken on the Botek Koek dive site which is part of the Northern Great Deatched Reef system in far north Queensland in Australia.
Detached Reef's in the area are named as they are near - but not directly attached to the Great Barrier Reef system
