A pair of Spotfin Lionfish (Pterois antennata)swim openly across a coral reef at night. This species can be identified by the spots on the pectoral fins and the long filament like rays which are seen only only on a couple of species of lionfish.
Image taken on the "Twin Rocks" shore dive in front of the Planet Dive resort in Anilao in the Batangas region of The Philippines.
