Close up on the face of a difficult to identify Black Saddled Sharpnose Puffer or Toby (Canthigaster valentini) resting on a small coral encrusted rock on the ocean floor.
Image taken on the "Twin Rocks" shore dive site in front of the Planet Dive resort off the coast of Anilao in the Batangas area of The Philippines.
This fish is mimiced by the Mimic Filefish and the visual differences are very small - the easist identifier is the length of the doral fin which is shorter in the puffer compared to Filefish
