While having a restricted range, this Chromodorididae Nudibranch (Chromodoris dianae) is common around various Philippine islands. The speciman was photographed on the Mapating Rock coral reef off of Anilao in the Batangas area of The Philippines.
It is known only from The Philippines, Indonesia and Borneo and was described only in 1998.
