The face of a Port Jackson Shark (Heterodontus portusjacksoni) lying on the ocean floor. These sharks regularly congregate in large groups, and this was one of a group of approximately 30-40 sharks in the area.
These sharks are considered part of the bullhead or horn shark family, and although docile and non-threatening, they do have venonous dorsal fin spikes.
Image taken in the Jervis Bay Marine Park in New South Wales, Australia.
