A Chromodorididae Nudibranch (Chromodoris splendida) moves across a rocky coral reef head in the cold water on a dive site in the Jervis Bay Marine Park in New South Wales, Australia.
This is one of the many red-spotted species of nudibranchs in the area. This pattern is suspected to be a defensive tactic which indicates to predators that the species tastes bad.
